IT’S ON AGAIN……… The annual Star Thoroughbred’s yearling parade which in recent years has introduced the Golden Slipper winner and Australasian 2-year old Champion SEBRING; weight for age Australian middle distance Champion and 5-times Group 1 winner, THESEO; and this year’s Magic Millions winner and current season glamour 2-year old, DRIEFONTEIN.
For those interested in joining the Gai Waterhouse/Star Thoroughbred’s success story, comes an opportunity to visit Muskoka Farms, one of Australia’s outstanding thoroughbred breaking in and spelling farms, to view the yearlings purchased by Star Thoroughbreds this year.
Gai will be on hand to discuss each of the yearlings on parade. She will be joined by Tulloch Lodge Racing Manager, Bruce Slade, together with yearling selector James Harron, who will discuss why each youngster looks to be a “Star” in the making.
Driefontein was named after a South African goldmine. We are hopeful that the horses on parade will ‘strike gold’ for our owners in the years to come.
