The Magic Millions WA Raceday was held at Pinjarra Park for the first time in 2016 . The day showcases the rich prizemoney on offer for graduates of Magic Millions yearling sales in WA.
$600,000 in exclusive WA Race Series prizemoney & Racing Women’s Bonuses is available across two feature races.
Both the Magic Millions WA 2YO Classic and the Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy have been recognised with Restricted Listed black type due to the high quality fields and winners to have contested past runnings of these races, which includes the likes of Super Smink, Sheeza Belter, Ex Sport Man, Gemma’s Son, Valour Road, Lucy Mae, The River, Lucky Street, Night War, Playing God and Camporella. The 2024 edition of the WA 2YO Classic was won by the Luke Fernie trained gelding Big Shots.
From 2024, prizemoney for the Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy increased to – $250,000 – don’t miss out on your chance to enjoy the excitement of competing in the WA Race Series and the opportunity for rich rewards.
For the sixth time in 2025, the WA 2YO Classic will offer a $75,000 2YO WA Racing Women’s Bonus to be shared between the first three all-female owned or leased horses in finishing order! The inaugural 2YO WA Racing Women’s Bonus winner in 2020 was Surveillance, who collected first place in the Bonus ($60,000) plus second place race prizemoney. In 2024 the WA Racing Women’s Bonus was taken home by Madhi Girl and her owner Teleah Hulse.
BREAKING NEWS! $100,000 in WA Racing Women’s Bonuses is now on offer annually at the Magic Millions WA Raceday!
For the first time in 2024, a new $25,000 3YO WA Racing Women’s Bonus was on offer in the $250,000 Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy.
The inaugural 3YO WA Racing Women’s Bonus winner in 2024 was Bondi Bubbles, trained by David Harrison who won the race collecting the $25,000 Bonus in addition to first place race prizemoney ($137,000) for her jubilant group of 13 female owners.
The 2025 $25,000 3YO Bonus will be distributed in entirety to the first eligible all-female owned or leased horse in finishing order in the Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy. To be eligible, a WA Bonus Registration must have been submitted to Magic Millions by 1 September 2023 when the horse was a 2YO, along with fulfillment of the ownership condition whereby the horse must have raced in 100% female ownership (or lease) at all times prior to and including the award of the Bonus (further conditions apply).
