Buyers on the look out for value and quality will be in for a treat on Sunday with Magic Millions conducting the Perth Winter Yearling Sale.
The sale, comprising 133 quality lots, will be held from noon on Sunday at the Belmont Park Sales Complex.
It is the last chance anywhere in Australia to buy an eligible graduate for the $5.85 million Magic Millions Race Series including $350,000 worth of exclusive races run at Ascot in Perth.
Star Western Australian sires including Blackfriars, Bletchley Park and Oratorio and local favourites Danehill Express, Due Sasso, Flying Pegasus, Husson Lightning, Saxon, Trade Fair, Viscount and Vital Equine all have yearlings in the auction.
Also represented by yearlings are interstate based sires All American, Big Brown, Bushranger, Choisir, Danzero, Haradasun, Holy Roman Emperor, Hussonet, Iffraaj, Librettit, Murtajill, New Approach and Statue of Liberty.
Pedigree highlights include at least half relations to stakes winners Belhari, Brasileira, Genuine Girl, Impressing Matters, Late Night Flight, Platinum Zana, Playcidium Mint, Poor Judge, Superscenic, Triple Happy and Vain Crusader.
There are also at least half relations to stakes placegetters Amelias Dancer, Biara Rose, Celt Code, Danny Rip, Dismissal, Dollarmation, Helder the Painter, Lucky Bo Bo and Torrid Affair catalogued.
Buyers on the look out for yearlings from top racemares will notice lots from black type mares including Danerip, Ellenbrook, Fashion Street, It’s the Business, Masai Lady, Only Glory, Oxidation, Scottish Storm and Serious Matter.
