A quality line up of 280 lots have been catalogued for the 2011 Magic Millions Perth Winter Thoroughbred Sale which commences on Friday.
The first of two sessions of the sale will commence at 4pm (WA time) on Friday. This session will comprise lots 1 to 76.
The sale will then continue on Sunday from 11am with lots 77 to 280.
The first session of the auction comprises 76 quality weanlings – a large number of these by exciting young sires.
Represented sires with weanlings include Balestrini, Balmont, Bearcat, Blackfriars, Bletchley Park, Danehill Express, De Beers, De Troy, Due Sasso, Fath, Flying Pegasus, Heritage, Izmir, Key Business, Lion Heart, Lucky Owners, Magic Albert, Medal of Honor, Natural Blitz, Numerous Times, Oratorio, So Secret, Spielmeister, Trade Fair, Viscount, Vital Equine and Zedrich.
After a day off for the Belmont races on Saturday, the sale will resume on Sunday from 11am with an action packed day’s selling.
The session kicks away with the latest offering from Peters Investments Pty Ltd – with a great line up of proven and exciting young gallopers.
Another highlight of the second session will be the first class line up of yearlings to go under the hammer.
Sires represented in the yearling section include Balmont, Bearcat, Churchill Downs, Flying Pegasus, Foxhound, Good Journey, Helenus, Hold That Tiger, Refuse to Bend, Universal Prince and Viscount.
There is also a quality line up of race filles, racehorses and proven broodmares – a number of which are in foal to leading WA based sires.
