With bidding to be conducted from June 24 until June 26, the sale will be open to all thoroughbreds – from weanlings and yearlings to racehorses and breeding stock. “We have made the decision to conduct this annual sale online this year to offer both vendors and buyers certainty,” Magic Millions WA Manager David Houston reported. “This is the most effective way of trading horses here in Western Australia before the start of the breeding season taking into account the current restrictions.” “Entries close strictly on June 5 – so don’t delay in logging on and completing your entry for the sale,” Houston added. “We anticipate the catalogue will be released online from June 15.” To facilitate vendors being able to promote their lots to a large online audience the entry fee of $440 (inc GST) for the auction will include provision for a photo and video to be professionally produced by a Magic Millions appointed photographer and videographer. Vendors of yearlings can elect to pay a premium entry to make youngsters eligible to be paid up for the rich Magic Millions Race Series.
