An outstanding catalogue of mixed thoroughbreds will go under the hammer late this month when the Magic Millions Belmont Park Sales Complex plays host to the Perth Winter Thoroughbred Sale.
Featuring a number of quality packed unreserved drafts, the sale boasts a catalogue of over 240 lots including a first class selection of Western Australian bred weanlings.
The sale will be held on Sunday, July 29 from 10am and the online catalogue can be viewed here.
Among the 100 plus weanlings catalogued are those by sires including Balmont, Blackfriars, Citidancer, Danehill Express, De Troy, Discorsi, Due Sasso, Fath, Flying Pegasus, Heritage, Holy Roman Emperor, Lucky Sabre, Medal of Honor, Musket, Patronize, So Secret, Surtee, Trade Fair, Universal Ruler, Vital Equine, War Pass etc.
The well bred weanlings include at least half relations to stakes performers including Avonmore Terrace, Belle Ball, Dark General, Darlington Abbey, Expunge, God Has Spoken, Kia Ora Miss, Kisani, Lady Knockout, Mansion House, Playing God, Privileged Class, Ready to Rip, Rohan, Scenic Fair, Simply Adorable, Sir Lago, Success Park, Thundershock, Tollesprit and Wynyard Hall.
Weanlings catalogued include those from stakes performers including Caitie’s Own, Crimson Pak, Downswept, Lil Elsa, Maybe Arch, Pennywest, Prime Again, Queen Ofthe Breeze, Ruth’s Revenge, Society Miss and Wynyard Hall.
The yearling section will include youngsters by sires including Danehill Express, Flying Pegasus, Flying Spur, Husson Lightning, Musket, Natural Blitz, Oratorio, Saxon, Trade Fair, Viscount, Vital Equine and Zedrich.
The yearlings catalogued include at least half relations to stakes winners Free Spirit, Mentality, Verossi and Xaaravid as well as a youngster from the stakes performed mare Celt Code.
The broodmare section of the sale includes lots by Archway, Bel Esprit, Bletchley Park, Canny Lad, Choisir, Danehill, Danzero, Desert King, Euclase, Fasliyev, General Nediym, Grand Lodge, Maroof, Old Spice, Oratorio, O’Reilly, Royal Academy, Street Cry, Thunder Gulch, Volksraad, Zafonic and Zedrich.
A large number of the broodmares catalogued were covered last season and those covering sires include Alfred Nobel, Blackfriars, Danehill Express, Demerit, Discorsi, Due Sasso, Famous Roman, Flying Pegasus, Heritage, Izmir, Key Business, Musket, Red Hot Choice, Reward for Effort, Saxon, Shaft, Trade Fair, Universal Ruler, Viscount and Vital Equine.
Highlights of the broodmare section of the sale include stakes performers Amore Venus, Celt Code, Crimson Pak, Hail Mary, Lomas Bayas, Lungarno, Maybe Arch, Olgavich, Storm Fille and Terevega as well as the dams of stakes performers Coppertito, Gloravega, Macau Eagle and You Sexy Boy.
The sale will be held from 10am (WA time) on Sunday, July 29 at the Belmont Park Sales Complex.
