Well bred filly Miss Safari has shot to the top of the order of entry for the $250,000 Magic Millions Perth 2YO Classic (1200m) after being declared the winner at Ascot on Saturday.
A member of the Shane Edwards stable, Miss Safari was originally nosed out in the juvenile race – but a protest lodged against the winner was successful.
With earnings of $38,000 the daughter of Ferocity heads the list from Lou Luciani’s Make Me Blush ($34,500).
The unbeaten city winners Absolute Cracker (Trevor Andrews) and Night War (Simon Miller) share the third line on the order of entry with $32,500 in earnings.
Screaming Plum ($19,000), Foo Foo the Snoo ($13,000), Push the Tempo ($10,000) and Western Fever ($8,800) round out the next four places.
Meanwhile, Summer Carnival star Playing God with $586,200 in earnings heads the list of runners for the $125,000 R.M.Williams Magic Millions Perth 3YO Trophy (1400m).
Motion Pictures ($572,800), Time to Climb ($222,600), Hot Tamale ($192,500) and Lauradane ($141,000) round out the top five.
Others high up in the order of entry include Absolute Pleasure, Playcidium Mint, Ortessa and Luckygray.
Both feature Magic Millions races will be run at the Ascot Racecourse on Saturday, 12 February.
