Breeze-up videos complete with breeze-up times, parade videos, photos and a new slow-motion feature are all available now from the online catalogue here, or via the Equineline Catalog app for iPad.
Three of the four breeze up sessions in the lead up to the sale have been concluded with faultless displays held and streamed live online from Seymour, the Gold Coast and Warwick Farm during recent weeks .
At Seymour on September 16, 41 two-year-olds breezed in ideal conditions on a perfect spring Victorian morning. A colt by Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Testa Rossa was the fastest, clocking 9.77 seconds for his timed sectional breeze.
Attention switched to the Gold Coast three days later with 171 lots being put through their paces. One of the supplementary lots (Lot 346 by Star Witness) was the fastest at the Gold Coast – running 10.28 seconds for the 200 metre gallop.
The build up to the sale turned to Sydney’s Warwick Farm the next morning with 14 two-year-olds breezing in style. The quickest time in Sydney was set by Lot 311 – a colt by Golden Slipper winner Stratum with a timed breeze of 10.06 seconds.
All breeze up footage from lots to have breezed so far is now online and for the first time the Magic Millions website provides slow motion viewing at the click of a button.
A final breeze up session will be held on the eve of Day One of the auction at the Gold Coast Turf Club from 9.30am on October 10. The sale will be held on October 11 and 12 with selling to commence at noon on each day.
A limited number of DVDs are available from the temporary Gold Coast office. For enquiries phone (07) 5504 1200.
