Magic Start To New Racing Season

With a staggering 10,000 wins in Australia alone over the past two seasons Magic Millions graduates have a tradition of winning and winning more often.

The 2011-12 racing season is just over a week old and already Magic Millions graduates have won 110 races and earned over $2.1 million in prizemoney.

Temple of Boom (pictured) led the way on Saturday when he scored a dashing win in the Group Three Aurie’s Star Handicap (1200m) at Flemington.

Prepared by top Toowoomba horseman Tony Gollan, Temple of Boom is now unbeaten in two runs down the famous Flemington straight and connections are looking forward to the Melbourne Spring carnival.

The $40,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase is a son of Piccolo and the stakes performed mare Temple Spirit and his earnings have raced to over $680,000.

During the recently completed 2010-11 season Magic Millions proved the number one source for both Group One winners and individual stakes winners – both in Australia and abroad.

During the past 12 months the company sold the best juveniles in South Africa, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea.

The next major sale on the Magic Millions calendar is the National Horses in Training Sale on the Gold Coast in October. Past graduates of this sale include Shocking, Fontelina, Gundy Son, Graceful Anna, Gingerbread Man, Viva Pronto and Famous Roman.
