A colt by exciting first season sire Dreamscape ran an all time record for Queensland based breeze ups at the Gold Coast today in preparation for the Magic Millions Horses in Training Sale later this month.

The youngster, catalogued as lot 55 and a member of the Glenlogan Park draft, ran a sizzling 9.85 seconds for his 200 metre electronically timed sectional.

By Choisir’s Stan Fox Stakes winner Dreamscape, the colt is from a winning daughter of former champion sire Rory’s Jester.

He was one of dozens of colts to run sub 11 second tmes during a successful breeze up session at the Gold Coast Turf Club.

Today’s session was a successful one with the majority of lots running impressive breeze ups with plenty still in hand.

A breeze up session with almost 50 lots will be held from 9.30am tomorrow at the Seymour Racing Club. All are welcome to view the breeze-ups from the grandstand.
