On Tuesday, 10 February in Forrest Place in Perth City, the barrier draws which shape the $250,000 Magic Millions Perth Two-Year-Old Classic and the $100,000 Magic Millions Perth Three-Year-Old Trophy will commence from 12:00pm.
Connections of the runners in both races will join Perth Racing stewards, Magic Millions partners, VIP guests and the racing industry to randomly select where their horse will jump from on Magic Millions Perth Raceday on Saturday, 14 February.
The event is free and everyone is welcome to come along and see 2008/09 Australian Racehorse of the year Scenic Blast and his brother, multiple Group 1 winner Scenic Shot parade through the mall. Scenic Blast is an Australian racing legend who also won Australian Sprinter of the Year, the Group 1 Kings Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot and was inducted into the Western Australia Racing Hall of fame. Scenic Shot won the Group 1 Doomben Cup twice in 2009 and 2011 and the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes.
