Next week’s barrier draw for the $2 million BMW Magic Millions 2YO Classic is shaping as one of the most important in the race’s history.

And those unable to make it to the Gold Coast Turf Club on Wednesday for the event can catch the drama live on Sky Racing World.

Racecaller and media personality David Raphael will host the draw where connections will be in the driver’s seat – by selecting their barrier when their horse is drawn.

With the draw to be held from 9am sharp – connections of runners in the 2YO Classic are required to be at the Boardroom of the Gold Coast Turf Club.

A representative to select the barrier for each runner in the final field will need to register prior to the draw with Magic Millions Racing Services Manager Ross McKeown.

Sky Racing’s Bernadette Cooper will be at the barrier draw to speak to connections and this footage will be shown on the Sky Racing network after the draw.

Another highlight of the barrier draw event will be unveiling of the fields and (computer generated) barrier draws for the $1 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas and the $400,000 R.M.Williams Magic Millions Cup.
